Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 21, 2026
ColdCaller ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ColdCaller website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a display handle. You choose whether to sign up as a Buyer or a Caller.
Profile information. Buyers may provide purchasing interests, affiliated companies (including NAICS codes), a headshot photo, and a booking rate. Callers may provide details about the goods and services they offer. All profile information you supply is voluntary.
Authentication data. We store a hashed version of your password. We never store passwords in plain text.
Usage data. Our servers automatically log standard request information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. This data is used solely for security monitoring and service improvement.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account.
- To display your public profile so that Buyers and Callers can connect.
- To authenticate you when you log in.
- To improve, maintain, and secure the service.
- To communicate service-related notices (e.g., password resets).
3. Public Profile Visibility
Buyer booking pages (your "Booking Link") are publicly accessible. Information you add to your profile — including your name, headshot, interests, affiliated companies, and booking rate — may be visible to anyone with the link, including search engines. Do not include information in your profile that you wish to keep private.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- With your consent or at your direction.
- For legal reasons, if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
- Service providers, who assist us in operating the platform (e.g., hosting), subject to confidentiality obligations.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Choices
- Edit or delete profile information at any time through your account settings.
- Delete your account by contacting us. We will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
ColdCaller is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
